External dimensions are larger, contact us for details. We recommend using a mattress with a thickness of 20 cm / 7,9 in. Bed slats are 2.5"-3" apart, with a thickness of 0.4 inches—except for the Zen Low Profile Bed with slats, which has 3.9" spacing.
